Dear supporters, 

finally ... raijn is on its way! By train, following the "New Silk Road". This historic international trade corridor, which was used in ancient times, connects Europe and Central Asia. So all raijns will arrive here in about four weeks, be made ready for shipment and sent directly to you - ready for the next bike trip or the upcoming holiday adventure!

raijn is your new reliable companion that protects you in all weather conditions and brings you dry to your destination in light and heavy rain showers. Stay tuned!

es ist soweit … raijn ist auf dem Weg! Und zwar per Zug, der „Neuen Seidenstraße" folgend.
Dieser historische, bereits in der Antike genutzte internationale Handelskorridor verbindet Europa und Mittelasien. Somit treffen alle raijns schon in etwa vier Wochen hier bei uns ein, werden versandfertig gemacht und direkt zu euch verschickt - bereit für den nächsten Radausflug oder das kommende Urlaubsabenteuer!

raijn ist dein neuer zuverlässiger Begleiter, der dich in jeder Wetterlage schützt und bei leichten und heftigen Regenschauern trocken an dein Ziel bringt. Bleibt gespannt!

Dear supporters, 

our common goal is within reach. We are proud that now all raijns are finished and on their way to us in Leipzig. To come home to you. What a joy! To shorten the waiting time, we have good news for you: With raijn we are nominated for the German Design Award 2021! We are happy to be selected for the category Excellent Product Design - Sports, Outdoor Activities and Leisure for our design quality and degree of innovation. What a success! The German Design Award is presented by the German Design Council, the German centre of excellence for design, brand and innovation. We are using the upswing to look to the future with confidence. Here's to a good start to the summer!

Your raijn is coming in July

We are going through stormy times at the moment and every single one of us is facing different challenges. How have you been doing? 

We from raijn have now almost finished the fourth week in our home office and are still working at full speed so that you can finally hold raijn in your hands. All over the world there are far-reaching delays in transport, supply chains are shifting and the economy is almost at a standstill. Despite these adverse circumstances, our highly qualified supplier has started the production of raijn. With current delays in transport, we expect to be able to send you your raijn in July. So you can already look forward to your weather companions, thought up by bicycle friends for bicycle friends. 

We will keep you up to date and hope you continue to get through these times well.

Eure raijn kommt im Juli!

Wir durchleben momentan stürmische Zeiten und jede*r Einzelne von uns ist vor unterschiedlichste Herausforderungen gestellt. Wie ist es euch ergangen? 

Wir von raijn haben nun bald die vierte Woche im Homeoffice hinter uns und arbeiten nach wie vor auf Hochtouren, damit ihr raijn endlich in euren Händen halten könnt. Auf der ganzen Welt kommt es zu weitreichenden Verzögerungen im Transport, Lieferketten verschieben sich und die Wirtschaft kommt nahezu zum Erliegen. Trotz der widrigen Umstände hat unser hochqualifizierter Lieferant die Fertigung von raijn begonnen. Mit derzeitigen Verzögerungen beim Transport rechnen wir damit, Euch im Juli Eure raijn zusenden zu können. Freut Euch also jetzt schon auf Eure Wetterkomplizen, erdacht von Fahrradfreunden für Fahrradfreunde. 

Wir halten euch auf dem Laufenden und hoffen, ihr kommt weiterhin gut durch diese Zeiten.

we have moved to our home office due to recent events and are of course still available for you. We are also pleased to announce that the production in China has now started up again. This means that the completion of all raijns is now within reach and the anticipation is growing!

We will of course keep you informed and prepare ourselves confidently for the coming spring. Be safe.

wir sind aus aktuellem Anlass ins Home Office umgezogen und sind natürlich weiterhin für euch da. Zudem dürfen wir die positive Neuigkeit verkünden, dass die Produktion in China nun wieder anläuft. Damit rückt die Fertigstellung aller raijns in greifbare Nähe und die Vorfreude steigt!

Expected production delays due to current situation in China

Dear backers, 

we are sorry to inform you that due to current events and the development of the coronavirus, our raijn manufacturer is temporarily suspending all production processes and keeping the company closed for the time being. This means that the production process of raijn will be at a standstill for the time being. After the New Year holidays, the Chinese government has declared itself against resuming work in 33 parts of China. Until all risks and dangers of the virus have been eliminated, not only companies, but also schools and shops will remain closed due to the high risk of infection. Our producer comments: „Considering the present situation and the development of the Corona Virus in China, we have decided to extend the closure time of the factory and the office until the risk and spreading of the infection is significantly reduced.”

We hope that the situation in China will calm down and send our best wishes to all those affected.

We will inform you in time about the further procedure and of course keep you up to date.

es tut uns leid euch darüber informieren zu müssen, dass aufgrund aktueller Geschehnisse und der Entwicklung des Coronavirus unser raijn-Hersteller alle Produktionsprozesse vorübergehend einstellt und die Firma vorerst geschlossen hält. Damit befindet sich der Produktionsablauf von raijn zunächst im Stillstand. Die chinesische Regierung hat sich nach den Neujahrsferien gegen eine Wiederaufnahme der Arbeit in 33 Landesteilen Chinas ausgesprochen. Bis nicht alle Risiken und Gefahren des Virus gebannt sind, bleiben nicht nur Unternehmen, auch Schulen und Geschäfte aufgrund der hohen Ansteckungsgefahr geschlossen. Unser Produzent formuliert folgendes dazu: „In Anbetracht der gegenwärtigen Situation und der Entwicklung des Coronavirus in China haben wir beschlossen, die Schließungszeit unserer Firma zu verlängern, bis das Risiko und die Verbreitung der Infektion deutlich reduziert ist.” Damit spüren nicht nur wir die Verlangsamung der Handelswege, die Auswirkungen des Coronavirus ziehen ganze Lieferketten und die globale Wirtschaft in Mitleidenschaft.

Wir hoffen, dass sich die Situation in China beruhigt und senden unsere besten Wünsche an alle Betroffenen.
